Pakmen is pleased to announce the appointment Mr. Tyler Robinson as head coach for our U16 team for the 2014-2015 competitive season. Robinson is a high school Physical Education teacher at Rick Hansen Secondary School where he coached RHSS Storm volleyball teams for the past 5 years. During Robinson’s time as coach, RHSS has won 2 ROPSSAA gold medals and 4 silver medals. He has also won an OFSAA “AAAA” bronze medal, an antique bronze medal and a consolation championship. Tyler has coached junior and senior boys and girls teams while at Rick Hansen. RHSS is known as a volleyball powerhouse in Mississauga, and Tyler is a key reason why.

Tyler’s impressive resume does not stop there. For the past 3 years he has been the lead assistant coach with the Sheridan College Bruins men’s volleyball team. He is also on the Pan-Am games organizing committee for the indoor volleyball event.

According to club president, Kelly Smith, “We are thrilled to have Tyler join Pakmen. He is considered to be one of the top young coaches in Ontario and we feel he will help our girls achieve the results (individually and team) they are capable of. Tyler knows how to motivate athletes to work hard and his knowledge of the game and the skills is impressive.”

Assisting Tyler will be world class coach Lennard Krapp. Lennard’s resume is extensive. Click on the link below to read an article highlighting Lennard’s accomplishments from the Pakmen website.
