Spikes Learn-to-Play (Summer 2025)

Spikes is a learn-to-play program for boys and girls in grades 1-6 (players are separated by age).

Volleyball is a great non contact team sport that encourages kids to make friends, develop skills, problem solve and enhance their physical literacy. Our programs will give your child the skills and confidence to enjoy volleyball for life.

Players remain in Spikes until they are in grade 5, when they can join the 5/6 Development League.

(Players in grades 5 or 6 who have only played volleyball in gym class at school need to begin in Spikes.)

Classes are held once a week for 1 hour. Our NCCP volleyball certified coaches know how to teach the basics in a positive and supportive environment with a focus on fun! Participants will learn the fundamentals and enjoy modified games each week.

Every participant will receive a Spikes T-shirt and a volleyball to take home and practice with. There is a tournament during the last class with a medal/prize for everyone.

Special Summer Pricing

We understand that many of our players may travel during the summer. We have taken this into consideration and priced our weekend (Saturday & Sunday) programs accordingly for the Summer.
