Misty Elizabeth May-Treanor

Misty Elizabeth May-Treanor is the legendary female beach volleyball player from the United States of America. It’s important to know that the player is a three-time Olympic gold medalist. She played in the pair with Kerri Walsh Jennings from 2001 till 2009 and from 2011 till 2012. Also, she played with Holly McPeak from 1999 till 2000.

Misty Elizabeth May-Treanor has won 3 Gold medals (in Athens in 2004, in Beijing in 2008 and in London in 2012) at the Olympic Games. Also, she won 3 Gold medals (in Rio de Janeiro in 2003, in Berlin in 2005 and in Gstaad in 2007) as well as 1 Silver medal (in Rome in 2011) at the World Championships.

Misty Elizabeth May-Treanor also played the game of indoor volleyball. She won the Bronze medal at Pan American Games in Winnipeg in 1999.

The list of her awards includes AVCA National Player of the Year (2 times), AVP Most Valuable Player (3 times) and many others. So, this list could go on and on.

Kerri Lee Walsh Jennings

Kerri Lee Walsh Jennings (also known as Six Feet of Sunshine) is another great female beach volleyball player from the United States of America. She played together with such players as Misty May-Treanor from 2001 till 2009, Nicole Branagh in 2010, Misty May-Treanor from 2011 till 2012 and April Ross from 2013 till 2017 and Brooke Sweat from 2019 till present.

Kerri Lee Walsh Jennings has an impressive list of awards. She has won 3 Gold medals (in Athens in 2004, in Beijing in 2008 and in London in 2012) as well as 1 Bronze medal (in Rio de Janeioro in 2016) at the Olympic Games; 3 Gold medals (in Rio de Janeiro in 2003, in Berlin in 2005, in Gstaad in 2007) as well as 1 Silver medal (in Rome in 2011) at the World Championships.

Adriana Behar

Adriana Behar is a famous beach volleyball player from Brazil. Francesca Piccinini is a member of the Italy women’s national volleyball team.  Francesca Piccinini played for the Italy women’s national volleyball team from 1995 till 2016.

Jaqueline Carvalho

Jaqueline Carvalho is a famous female volleyball player from Brazil. She plays at the position of an outside hitter. Jaqueline Carvalho played for the Brazil national volleyball team from 2001 till 2018.

Jaqueline Carvalho has many sport awards. April Ross

April Ross is an American beach volleyball legend. During her sport career, she played with such volleyball players as Lauren Fendrick in 2017, Kerri Walsh Jennings from 2013 till 2017 and Jennifer Kessy from 2007 till 2013.  April Ross also played with Barbra Fontana, Keao Burdine and Nancy Mason in 2006. She played with Alix Klineman in 2018.

The athlete’s list of sport achievements includes the following: 1 Silver medal (in London in 2012) and 1 Bronze medal (in Rio de Janeiro in 2016) at the Olympic Games; 1 Gold medal (in Stavanger in 2009) as well as 2 Silver medals (in Vienna in 2017 and in Hamburg in 2019).

Her awards also include: AVP Rookie of the Year (in 2006), AVP Most Improved Player (in 2007), AVP Best Server (she has won this award 5 times from 2013 till 2017), AVP Best Offensive Player (she earned this award in 2013 and in 2017), AVP Most Valuable Player (2013 – 2017) as well as AVP Team of the Year (in 2012, in 2014, in 2016 and in 2019).

April Ross also played the game of indoor volleyball. She played for Orange County Volleyball Club for about 5 years. Later, she decided to switch from indoor volleyball to beach volleyball.

Destinee Hooker

Destinee Hooker is an American indoor volleyball player. She played for the United States national volleyball team from 2008 till 2012. Destinee Hooker has many sport achievements.

The volleyball player has earned 1 Silver medal (in London in 2012) at the Olympic Games; 1 Silver medal (in Japan in 2011) at FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Cup; 2 Gold medals (in Ningbo in 2010 and in Macau in 2011) at FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix as well as 1 Gold medal (in Caguas in 2011) at NORCECA Championship.

Prisilla Rivera

Prisilla Rivera is a great volleyball player from Dominican Republic. She plays at different positions such as opposite spiker, middle blocker and wing spiker. Prisilla Rivera is a member of the Dominican Republic women’s volleyball team.
