Pakmen is the #1 ranked volleyball club in Canada based on overall results at both Provincials and Nationals for an unbelievable ten (10) years in a row (2014 to 2024).
Pakmen offers rep teams for boys and girls in all divisions (u12 to u18). We are committed to providing a high performance environment through the rep programs which empowers young athletes to reach their athletic and personal potential by building self-confidence, discipline, knowledge of the game, competitive training, and problem solving, in a safe and positive environment. Pakmen believes in developing a culture of mutual respect between parents, athletes and coaches through transparency, positive interactions, recognition of feelings and appreciation of uniqueness.
Full Time/Professional Coaching Staff
We are the only club in Canada with a staff of full time, professional volleyball coaches and have consistently produced many of the best youth players in Canada. Moreover, our professional coaches provide specialty training (setters, liberos, middles and outside hitters) outside of team practices.
Facilities
In addition to the school gyms we use, we are the only club in Canada with exclusive use, 24/7, to its own air conditioned volleyball dedicated facility. The Pakmen Courts is 20,000 square feet with 7 regulation courts and a unique sub-floor designed for volleyball and the only one of its kind in Ontario. Having our own facility allows us to continue training during Christmas, March Break, Education Week and other key times during the season when school gyms may not be available. We also have our own beach volleyball courts (6).
Diversity Powered Volleyball
Pakmen's slogan, 'Diversity Powered Volleyball' is now 22 years old. Our club was built on diversity - long before most people even knew what the term meant. By breaking down barriers which prevented all kids from playing volleyball, we were able to build the first multi-cultural club in Canada and we have never looked back.
2025/2026 Rep Teams
Pakmen rep teams are based out of Mississauga/Brampton. Athletes from any city are welcome to tryout.
Athletes are strongly encouraged to attend the first tryout but they can still tryout if they can only attend the second or third tryout. If our coaches feel you have a chance of making the team after the first tryout, they will invite you back to the next tryout. You do not have to pay the $30 tryout fee again. If our coaches feel you do not have a chance of making the team after the tryout, the athlete will be informed and not invited back to the next tryout.
Parents are not permitted inside during the tryouts.
Players who have already signed with other clubs are not permitted to tryout as per OVA rules.
Tryout fees are not refundable.
The Ontario Volleyball Association is asking that every player trying out for a rep team also register with them for insurance purposes.
There is no charge to register. Please register as a “Tryout Player”.
If you have never played rep before, you will have to create an account.

Pakmen Volleyball is a registered not-for-profit organization. Anyone interested in trying out for a Rep Team must attend the tryouts in September. There is a $30 tryout fee. 12U/13U/14U athletes fees range from $2770 to $2900*, 15U-16U athletes fees range from $2900 to $3150*, and 17U-18U athletes fees range from $3150 to $3300*. Pakmen Fees are amongst the lowest compared to the other top clubs in Ontario.
*Fees can vary based on the number of tournaments played and the number of players on the team.12u/13u/14u teams normally train 3 times per week, 6 to 8 pm. All other teams (15u - 18u) will train 3 times per week, 8 to 10 pm. Training goes from September to May. Practices are normally held in Mississauga and or Brampton.
In addition, we offer optional position training e.g., setters, liberos, outside hitters on Sundays exclusively for Pakmen rep athletes.
Pakmen athletes compete in the Ontario Volleyball Association's (OVA) sanctioned tournaments which are normally held once every 5 weeks. All tournament dates are posted by the OVA prior to the start of the season but locations are normally not posted until 3 to 4 weeks prior to each tournament. Most tournaments are held on Saturdays or Sundays and most are held in the GTA, although some may be held outside the GTA.
All our teams will attend the 2/3 day Provincial Championships held in April and Nationals in May.
No club in Canada has won more Provincial and National Championships than the Pakmen Volleyball Club.
Pakmen's record is built on developing the technical skills of each of our athletes so they can be successful in competition and reach their potential in this sport. No club has produced more OVA All-Stars, Provincial Team program athletes, and post-secondary athletes excelling in the OUA, OCAA, NCAA, National team programs and professional teams throughout the world.
Pakmen has produced three (3) Olympians thus far.
At the end of each season, we celebrate out athletes and coaches with an awards banquet. The night consists of awards, speeches, food and music. In addition to honouring our current athletes, we also celebrate our alumni by inducting some each year into the Pakmen Hall of Fame. The banquet is a fun filled night to celebrate the teams successes and officially end the season. Please click here to see some pictures of the banquet.
