THINKING OF JOINING REP?

This video is for players who have never played Rep Volleyball before and thinking of trying out for a Pakmen Rep team

Pakmen is widely considered to be the top overall club in Canada, holding the top spot in combined Provincial and National results for an unmatched 12 consecutive years (2014-2025).

We offer highly competitive rep teams for boys and girls in every age division (U12-U18). Pakmen is dedicated to creating a high-performance environment that helps young athletes reach their full potential — both on and off the court — by developing self-confidence, discipline, game intelligence, competitive skills, and problem-solving abilities in a safe, supportive, and positive setting.

We foster a strong culture of mutual respect among athletes, parents, and coaches through transparency, open communication, emotional validation, and a genuine appreciation for each individual’s unique strengths.

The Pakmen Advantage

Full Time/Professional Coaching Staff

We are the only club in Canada with a staff of full time, professional volleyball coaches, including our head coach, Jessy Satti, who work with all of our rep team coaches to help implement the ‘Pakmen System’ which has consistently produced many of the best youth players in Canada. Moreover, our professional coaches provide specialty training opportunities (setters, liberos, middles and outside hitters) outside of team practices.

Facilities

Our rep teams train in school gyms during the season and take advantage of training in our very own 30,000 square foot facility (Pakmen Courts) when gym permits are cancelled, during Christmas, March Break, Education Week and other key times during the season when school gyms may not be available. We also have our own beach volleyball courts (6).

Diversity Powered Volleyball

Pakmen’s slogan, ‘Diversity Powered Volleyball’ is now 22 years old. Our club was built on diversity – long before most people even knew what the term meant. By breaking down barriers which prevented all kids from playing volleyball, we were able to build the first multi-cultural club in Canada and we have never looked back.

2025/2026 Rep Teams

OVA permits teams to resign athletes from the previous year. Please see link below for resigned athletes list: Click Here

The remaining spots on the team are to be filled with verbal commitments given to players, players identified and offered spots at open gyms and tryouts.

Teams will not be finalized until the conclusion of tryouts. While most teams typically select 12 players, coaches may choose to take additional athletes based on the potential demonstrated during evaluations.

Rep Team Tryouts

Pakmen rep teams are based out of Mississauga/Brampton. Athletes from any city are welcome to tryout.

Athletes are strongly encouraged to attend the first tryout but they can still tryout if they can only attend the second or third tryout. If our coaches feel you have a chance of making the team after the first tryout, they will invite you back to the next tryout. You do not have to pay the $30 tryout fee again. If our coaches feel you do not have a chance of making the team after the tryout, the athlete will be informed and not invited back to the next tryout.

Parents are not permitted inside during the tryouts.

Players who have already signed with other clubs are not permitted to tryout as per OVA rules.

Tryout fees are not refundable.

Pakmen Volleyball is a registered not-for-profit organization. Anyone interested in trying out for a Rep Team must attend the tryouts in September. There is a $30 tryout fee. 12U/13U/14U athletes fees range from $3070 to $3200*, 15U-16U athletes fees range from $3250 to $3350*, and 17U-18U athletes fees range from $3450 to $3550*. Pakmen Fees are amongst the lowest compared to the other top clubs in Ontario.

*Fees can vary based on the number of tournaments played and the number of players on the team

The non-refundable deposit of $1000 is due Sept 25th 2026. The 1st installment is due Nov 6th 2026 and will be 50% of the total fee minus the deposit. The 2nd installment will be due Dec 11th 2026 and will be remaining 50% of the total fee minus the deposit. A 3rd and final installment will be collected on March 12th 2027 for any additional cost incurred during the season (over age tournaments, nationals, etc).

The 12U, 13U, and 14U teams typically train three times per week from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. All other teams (15U through 18U) train three times per week from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Training runs from September through May, with practices primarily held in Mississauga and/or Brampton.

In addition, we offer position-specific training sessions (e.g., setters, liberos, outside hitters) on Sundays at no additonal cost. These sessions are available exclusively to Pakmen rep athletes.

All same gender teams train simultaneously in our 10-court facility, with girls training from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM and boys from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Training together under one roof helps build strong club unity and culture, while also providing college and university coaches with a convenient opportunity to observe and work with players across all age groups — from the youngest teams through to U18.

Pakmen athletes compete in the Ontario Volleyball Association’s (OVA) sanctioned tournaments which are normally held once every 5 weeks. All tournament dates are posted by the OVA prior to the start of the season but locations are normally not posted until 3 to 4 weeks prior to each tournament. Most tournaments are held on Saturdays or Sundays and most are held in the GTA, although some may be held outside the GTA.

All our teams will attend the 2/3 day Provincial Championships held in April and Nationals in May.

No club in Canada has won more Provincial and National Championships than the Pakmen Volleyball Club.

Pakmen’s record is built on developing the technical skills of each of our athletes so they can be successful in competition and reach their potential in this sport. No club has produced more OVA All-Stars, Provincial Team program athletes, and post-secondary athletes excelling in the OUA, OCAA, NCAA, National team programs and professional teams throughout the world.

Pakmen has produced three (3) Olympians thus far: Sharone Vernon-Evans, Xander Ketrzynski & Daniel Dearing

At the end of each season, we celebrate out athletes and coaches with an awards banquet. The night consists of awards, speeches, food and music. In addition to honouring our current athletes, we also celebrate our alumni by inducting some each year into the Pakmen Hall of Fame. The banquet is a fun filled night to celebrate the teams successes and officially end the season. Please click here to see some pictures of the banquet.

Honouring the outstanding athletes, teams, coaches and builders who have shaped Pakmen Volleyball and left a lasting legacy of excellence, sportsmanship and community.

HEAD COACH

JESSY SATTI

Our rep teams are led by full-time Head Coach Jessy Satti.

One of Canada’s most accomplished youth volleyball coaches, Satti is highly regarded by coaches across all levels throughout North America.

In this role, Satti is responsible for the selection of all rep coaches and provides comprehensive support in the areas of practice planning, seasonal programming, and all other aspects essential to achieving competitive success.

CLUB

REPUTATION

Pakmen is one of the most renowned and respected volleyball clubs in North America.

All of our coaches undergo rigorous screening and thorough vetting to ensure they deliver an outstanding experience for our athletes while representing the club with the highest level of professionalism at all times.

We are guided by strong ethical principles and never place winning above doing what is right.

Pakmen teams have won more Division 1, Tier 1 provincial and national titles than any other club in Canada. We are widely recognized for developing athletes to their full potential and have produced more Provincial and National team athletes than any other club in the country. Coaches from leading OUA and NCAA programs frequently contact us directly to inquire about our athletes, relying on Pakmen’s reputation for producing disciplined, skilled, and college-ready players. Currently, a record eight Pakmen alumni are competing on the Senior National Team rosters in the 2026 Volleyball Nations League.

DEDICATED

FACILITY

Pakmen operates it’s own dedicated 10-court facility with a premium 5-layer sub floor. This facility is used for speciality training and during holidays when school gyms are unavailable, as well for extra training sessions whenever needed.

All of our rep teams train in high-quality gymnasiums featuring ample space and excellent ceiling height.

Each gym is used exclusively by one team, and most teams also have access to a second gym during practices at least once per week.

In addition, the club operates its own dedicated 10-court volleyball facility with a premium 5-layer subfloor. This facility is used during holidays when school gyms are unavailable, as well as for extra training sessions whenever needed.

PROVEN ATHLETE PATHWAY

Under the guidance of our full-time head coach, our athletes follow a structured training system designed to prioritize their long-term development above all else.

We do not place over-aged players on younger teams in pursuit of short-term success, as this would compromise the athletes’ future growth and potential.

The Pakmen training philosophy has produced more Division 1, Tier 1 provincial and national titles than any other club in Canada. It has also developed more provincial and national team program athletes, along with more post-secondary athletes, than any other club in the country.

Pakmen has produced three (3) Olympians thus far: Sharone Vernon-Evans, Xander Ketrzynski & Daniel Dearing

Currently, eight Pakmen alumni are competing with the Canadian Senior National teams at the 2026 Volleyball Nations League.

CLUB

CULTURE

Pakmen is proud to have one of the highest athlete retention rates in rep volleyball. Most of our athletes spend their entire competitive playing career with our club.

The vast majority of our 100+ coaches are former Pakmen athletes, creating a deep culture of continuity and mentorship.

Hundreds of our alumni continue playing volleyball well into adulthood, regularly forming adult teams with fellow Pakmen graduates and competing in various leagues and tournaments throughout the GTA.
