Greatest Volleyball Women’s World Championship Winners

It’s important to know that the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship has taken place since 1952. The FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship 2018 will be held in six cities of Japan. The competition will begin on 29 September and last till 20 October 2018. The top 24 women’s national volleyball teams will participate in the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship 2018.
Among the women’s national volleyball teams that have already qualified for the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship 2018 are: Argentina, Azerbaijan, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cameroon, Canada, China, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Mexico, Germany, Japan, Netherlands, Puerto Rico, Russia, Serbia, South Korea, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey as well as the United States.
During the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship 2018 teams will play in four pools – pool A, pool B, pool C and pool D. Six volleyball women’s teams will play in each pool.
Japan, Netherlands, Argentina, Germany, Cameroon as well as Mexico will play in the pool A.
China, Italy, Turkey, Bulgaria, Canada as well as Cuba will play in the pool B.
The United States, Russia, South Korea, Thailand, Azerbaijan as well as Trinidad and Tobago will play in the pool C.
Serbia, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Kazakhstan and Kenya will play in the pool D.
Among the women’s national volleyball teams that have won the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship are: Cuba, China, Japan, Italy, Russia and the United States. Such women’s national volleyball teams as Brazil, Poland, Peru and Romania have also demonstrated excellent results at the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship.
The Brazil women’s national volleyball team has won 3 Silver medals (in Brazil in 1994, Japan in 2006 and Japan in 2010) as well as 1 Bronze medal (in Italy in 2014) at the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship.
The Poland women’s national volleyball team has won 1 Silver medal (in the Soviet Union in 1952) as well as 2 Bronze medals (in France in 1956 and in the Soviet Union in 1962).
The Peru women’s national volleyball team has won 1 Silver medal (in Peru in 1982) as well as 1 Bronze medal (in Czechoslovakia in 1986) at the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship.
