Koppers chosen for Canada Games team

Pakmen’s Brandon Koppers made an impression at the Team Ontario tryouts recently for the Canada Games. The 18 year old Georgetown native made the U21 team and will represent Ontario at the upcoming Canada Games this summer. Read below for more details:

Canada Games Indoor Teams Announced
The 21U Men’s and 20U Women’s Canada Games Team Selection Camp was held at the York University this past weekend May 17th to 19th.

After three rigorous days of drills, scrimmages, testing and evaluations, the Ontario Volleyball Association is proud to announce the list of successful athletes who will represent Ontario at Canada Games. The first Canada Games was held in February 1967 in Quebec City. The event has since grown to become the biggest and most prestigious multi-sport competition offered to young Canadians. The volleyball event will be held August 1-9, 2013 in Sherbrooke, Quebec.
