Ms Pakmen U 14 Golden again!

On March 23rd the Ms. Pakmen 14U team competed in their final OVA 14U Championship division tournament of the year before the Ontario Championships at RIM Park. The girls continued their strong team play and winning ways coming away with another gold medal. However, it wasn’t easy. The girls ended up losing the first set of the semi-final to Interclub, but were able to pull out the win with a 15-11 third set victory. In the finals the team was up against the KW Predators in their first meeting this season. The girls won in 2 straight sets 25-18 and 25-23 to head into the OCs on a winning note.

The girls have had a great year thus far winning 6 of the 7 OVA tournaments they entered, including a 15U Championship division tournament. In their age group they were undefeated in all of their 14U tournaments playing in the Championship division the entire season. The girls only lost 2 sets all year in their age group. Heading into the Ontario Championships they hope to continue their success. They are ranked 20th overall at the 15U Ontario Championships, the highest ranking of any 14U team entered. At this time, no rankings are out for the 14U Ontario Championships. Good luck in both tournaments girls!
