Ms Pakmen 13U won gold on December 8th in the 13U Provincial Cup. This past weekend they travelled to Markham to play in the 14U Challenge Cup to try to win a second gold in a row. First in pool play they faced Titans Hyperion whom they defeated 2-0. Next was a tougher match against E381 Blue who they defeated at the last 14U tournament. The team did not play too well falling to E381 Blue 2-0. This placed them second in their pool and now in the quarter-finals they would face Selects 99. Ms Pakmen 13U would defeat the older Selects 2-0 and move to the semi-final they would face the first ranked Oakville Thunder White. It was a close match but the younger Ms Pakmen team won 2-0. In the finals they would face E381 Blue again who they lost to earlier in the day. This time the team was ready and the won 2-0 in convincing fashion.
This was the second tournament in a row the team has won gold. Congratulations to team members; Darena, Carolina , Rachel, Madeline, Caprice, Chantal, Brianna, Alex, Tea and Reese. Thanks also go to parents and siblings for cheering and all the food.
