Sharone Leads the World!

Sharone Vernon Evans just became the first player this season to score 30+ points in a VNL match. The 20-year former Pakmen Volleyball Club standout scored 28 points from attack, had 2 blocks and served one ace today against Poland.

Vernon-Evans is the sixth player to join the list, after the top five from last season. The all-time VNL scoring record in a single match remains 37 points by China’s Jiang Chuan from last year’s match against France.

Vernon-Evans is the first player ever to score 30+ points in a match, while playing for a losing side.
