Jhajj and Veron-Evans to represent Canada at U17 World Championships
Pakmen standouts Parvir Jhajj (16) and Sharone Veron-Evans (15) won the Canadian Beach Volleyball qualifiers recently and will now represent Canada at the U17 World Championships in Mexico. The boys are 2-time National Champions and this will be their first major competition outside of Canada. They went undefeated at the 2-day trials. “The boys played with a lot of intensity, they knew the importance of this tournament so they didn’t go easy on anyone” commented their coach, Jessy Satti, who will accompany the pair in Mexico . Veron-Evan credited his partner, Jhajj with the victory: “My partner Parvir helped us … with his tough serves. He played amazing and brought such intensity” Jhajj was equally generous with his praise of Veron-Evans: “… his blocking was great this weekend, and his hitting … unstoppable. “
Good luck at Worlds Boys. Everyone at Pakmen Nation will be cheering for you!
