OVA Announces Pakmen as one of Canada’s First ACCREDITED CLUBS

  • August 27, 2015
The Ontario Volleyball Association and Volleyball Canada have named the Pakmen Volleyball Club as one of the first Accredited Volleyball Clubs in Canada. London’s Forest City V.C. and Ottawa’s Mavericks V.C. are the only two other clubs to receive this honour.
According to the Ontario Volleyball Association’s Technical Director, Jason Trepanier, “The club (Pakmen) has been incredibly successful winning numerous Provincial and National Championships and has demonstrated an ability to develop Provincial and National Team players in both beach and indoor volleyball. They have built their success from the bottom up boasting one of the largest House League youth development program in Canada.”
Pakmen is proud of its model to provide quality coaching to all players in the club, regardless of skill level or experience. We have more National team players and former National team players coaching in our club than any club in Canada and we are convinced that our coaches are the reason for our success. Moreover, our model has attracted some of the best coaches in the sport, including OUA coaching legend Orest Stanko (all time best record in Ontario Men’s University Volleyball), Wayne Willkins (defending National Champion OCCA Coach) and Olympic and National team coach Lennard Krapp.
