Pakmen Volleyball Club is ecstatic to announce the signing of Reid Hall to coach our boys u17 Black team this season. Reid, a former professional volleyball player and national team athlete, is one of the most respected and well-liked coaches in the province.

“I got to know Reid when he was the captain of the York University Lions and my u18 team was training with them. I was impressed with his work ethic, integrity and leadership. He had the respect of all his teammates and coaches and I thought he would make a fine coach. Fortunately for us, Reid is giving back to the sport and has agreed to coach with us” commented club president Kelly Smith.

Smith isn’t the only one happy, “I am beyond excited to help inspire and educate volleyball players from the most prestigious club in Canada” commented Hall.

Pakmen head coach Orest Stanko was thrilled to welcome Reid to our coaching staff. “The primary objective of the Pakmen Volleyball Club is provide our athletes with access to the best possible coaching and an environment that will enhance their passion for the sport and help them achieve their objectives. Reid Hall encompasses all of the coaching attributes that support these objectives. Pakmen athletes will be the beneficiaries of Reid’s enthusiasm and expertise as a volleyball coach as well as a certified strength and conditioning practitioner.”

Smith was also quick to credit Stanko for helping to land another stellar coach to the already outstanding coaching staff at Pakmen. “It all starts at the top, when you have a leader with the track record and reputation that Orest has, good things happen, and good people want to be part of your organization.”

Pakmen announced University of Toronto assistant coach Michael Wahby and Provincial team head coach Matt Harris to our coaching staff last month and will make more announcements in the near future.
