Volleyball legend signs up to join our team

He is considered by many to be one of the most competitive and passionate players to ever play the game and he is now a Pakmen rep coach. Chris Simek has signed up to coach our U17 boys team for the upcoming season. Head coach Phillip Rodrigues is thrilled to have Chris teaming up with him. “Chris is very competitive and he is going to be able to help our guys bring out this quality in themselves. He is also an amazing technical coach who will help the players improve their technique, and the team achieve our goal of winning a National Championship. Practices are going to be even more competitive with every player having to earn their spot every single practice”.

Simek is a former all-Canadian college and university player, former National team player and professional beach volleyball player. He coached several Pakmen rep players this past year in clinics, as well as countless players in our weekend indoor programs. He quickly established his reputation as a coach who is fair and positive but demands that everything be performed correctly each and every time, and with high intensity.
