You Need to Recover!

Strength and Conditioning Coaches need to effectively manipulate their training based on the needs of the athletes.

It is not about going 100 miles per hour every training session. Volleyball players are practicing more, doing more position specific training, and attending more camps and clinics than ever before.

The Pakmen 15U’s (in the pic) had a tournament the day before the training session. At the beginning of the workout we surveyed the athletes and it is apparent that they are tight and sore!

This is a group that works hard and loves training so they would tell the truth. So what did we do? We spent an hour on recovery. The goal of the workout was to leave the training session feeling refreshed.
