Volleyball is a sport which enforces the values of teamwork, dedication, and perseverance. It seamlessly combines athleticism with strategy. Volleyball is a journey every child should get to experience. What better way to begin this journey than at Pakmen’s Spikes Learn-to-Play. Spikes is an hour long program which runs for 8 to 10 weeks. It is for players aged 6 to 16, who have little to no experience in volleyball. The focus is to teach the skills of volleyball in a supportive, fun environment. The program is intended for children looking to venture into a new sport, or get a head-start in volleyball.

Spikes teaches all the basics: forearm and overhead passing; hitting; serving; basic team play.A core aspect of Pakmen is learning through play: they don’t sit around for an hour practicing the motion of a bump; they get right into it! This ensures that the player picks up the skill quickly, and any corrections can be made right then and there!

Spikes teaches you more than just skills, however. It teaches youth communication, safety, leadership skills, and good sportsmanship. It develops your child as a whole. When Spikes ends, your child will be much more than just a good volleyball player; they will be confident leaders. What this program does is prepare you for the real world, providing necessary, lifelong skills.

Our dedicated coaches will assist your child every step of the way, ensuring they have a rock-solid foundation. Our coaches know how to teach the basics while making sure participants have a great time! They will walk you through the many motions of volleyball, perfecting your technique. With their guidance, you will become a champion.
